We have received some more details about the Owners of the land , the document that shows their ownership over the land and some details regarding partners etc: The text: Hi Vismay, to tell you a bit more about Frisia Dos: Frisia Dos is a Costa Rican company that is owned by 4 Dutch families. Most of the family members live in Holland, but some live in the US and I live in Scotland. The company was founded 24 years ago with the aim of growing teak. Teak was planted on two plantations in the south of CR and a third plantation (Francia) was bought a few years later. The investment horizon was always around 20-25 years. The objective wass to grow teak and then once the teak was mature, harvest the teak, sell it and then sell the land. Two out of three of our plantations have been fully harvested and the third still has some trees left on it. As you know, the day to day operations are managed out of CR by Huite Zijlstra and Jit Coers and I am the chairman of the company. One other director lives in Texas and has a Costa Rican wife and travels to CR regularly. The company is registered in CR and you have the registration number in the contract, so you can look it up online in the local company registry (have not done this myself, so can't tell you exactly how to do it, but I'm sure someone can tell you). I'd be happy to answer any specific questions any of your partners may have in a zoom call.

Opening the discussion about decision making What we propose : * Decision making will be divided into different categories. * Day to day decisions will be taken by the teams that are responsible for them and will be transparent to the whole community. * The council will meet periodically or at need to discuss and vote about any needed issues. For example, it can be development , new members , new projects , directions etc. * To arrive to a decision , a vast majority is needed. We would like to offer that a majority of 80% will be needed for decisions. It might take more discussions and maybe more time yet it gives a lot of importance and priority to make everyone happy. Please add your feedback and let's start a discussion Blessings Vismay

Here is a drone video I took of the land and locations of the Florestral Expansion! It gives an in-depth aerial tour of the locations of the first new neighborhood we are going to build on a special part of the new land: Sunset Ridge!

Florestral Community resides in a beautiful, lush tropical valley full of jungle and wildlife. This valley holds one of the tallest waterfalls in Central America, the Diamante Waterfall. From its base flows the Diamante River, which flows through our farm of Florestral. Here is a lovely video with music that I filmed with a drone, of the the Diamante waterfall at sunrise (featuring a crowd of tropical parrots!).

Here it is, season two of the Florestral walkthrough! In this series of videos I treck through the relatively undeveloped, wild land of the Florestral expansion. I walked through as much of the land as I could to give you an in-depth look at the new Expansion that we are undergoing! Remember that since these are 360 degree videos you can use your cursor to look around.

I walked across most of the Florestral land on a walkthrough with our 360 degree GoPro camera to create this virtual tour for you! It's a long one, with eleven videos. We have a big farm! But it should give you a beautiful, in-depth look at what the land is like, as good as it gets without coming to visit yourself! Don't forget that since they are 360 degree videos, you can use your cursor to look around. In this season, I only walk through the existing Florestral farm. Watch out for season 2, where I treck through the bush of the Expansion!

This post contains a video from our YouTube channel of me explaining the simple Florestral Map that we have made using a drone-captured image of the land from above. The map shows rivers, creeks, roads and paths, and the borders between the existing Florestral, Florestral Expansion A, and Florestral Expansion B. The video also references another series of videos that I made of a 360 degree tour of the land, which I will link also on the forum.
